Minutes of Inaugural Meeting – Tuesday 20th February 2024
Held at the Scout Hut, Balintore
Present: Maureen Ross (MR) Highland Councillor, Alasdair Rhind (AR) Highland Councillor,
Kevin Kirk (KK), David Smith (DS), John Friel (JF), Brian Gallagher (BG), Alastair Gill (AG), Lyndsay Watt (LW).

Welcome: As this was the first meeting after the recent Elections, the Chair was taken over by Cllr. Maureen Ross (MR). She welcomed all to the meeting and those around the table introduced themselves.
MR – advised the procedure for the Inaugural Meeting and requested that nominations be put forward for a chairperson.
JF – nominated KK for Chairperson and this was seconded by DS.
MR – asked if there were any other nominations for Chairperson – None put forward – all agreed that they accepted Kevin Kirk as the new Chairperson.
MR – Handed the meeting over to Kevin Kirk.
