11. COMMUNITY GROUP UPDATE
*Alice reported on the Hilton Trust PICTs in the Park event which was a great success and especially beneficial to the local children,
*JM asked about the signs at the Hilton Stone which are showing signs of disrepair. Hugh assured the meeting that the matter is in hand to sort the signs out.
* Norma reported that the Polytunnel Facebook Page sets out the events taking place at the PT. She urged members to join.
14. CEMETERY SIGN REQUEST
*Alice requested that something should be done about the cemetery sign. AG will contact Councillor Rhind and ask his advice.
* JM expressed concern regarding the amount of signage on the seafront that are so damaged they are illegible. A discussion took place on who is ultimately responsible for the upkeep of the signs and the stone. A sign audit will be carried out by the Council.
* A lengthy discussion took place on the plans to build a digester plant at Fearn. It is quite apparent there is widespread opposition to the proposal.
It was decided to arrange a public meeting with all interested groups and to make sure it is widely advertised. JM will contact Jamie Stone MP
